New Africa Live is back! As usual, the series will be hosted by Somi and features New African artists that push the boundaries of African expression. This time, it will be held at the fabulous Joe's Pub and will feature both Ethiopian Soul singer Wayna and the Nigerian Jazz ensemble known as The Olatuja Project.
Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Avenue in New York City. The show begins at 9:00pm on Friday, July 18th. Tickets are $20 at the door, but check local newspaper listings for your chance at ticket giveaways.
