Liquid Latitudes, a maverick collaboration between Amayo's Fu-Arkist-ra and The Sweet Plantain String Quartet present the world premiere of AMEN, an Afrobeat spiritual inspired by Yoruba chants from Nigeria. Amayo's sound is an Afrobeat blend of African spiritual rhythms, Chinese rhythms, funk, highlife and jazz infused with political messages. Amayo is largely known in the U.S. and abroad for his work with the acclaimed group Antibalas.
